Probably this is a good idea to explain my thoughts behind this warning on the mariacoin.com website:
This is v2 of a warning label and is far from perfect.
I have placed it on the website for both: the "gov" & people who might have a wrong idea about owning a cryptocurrency coin (way too many people call themselves "investors" which I see totally wrong).
What triggered me to upgrade the previous warning label to the existing one? >> LBRY case! .. have you seen what happened to Lbry? .. Their coin is called LBRY Credits & they are the best known for their project odysee.com that was presented like a kinda decentralised YouTube.

I learnt about Lbry after watching this video (I'm huge fan of Eli):

every founder should know the Lbry case: SEC claimed that LBRY offered $LBC to their investors as a security (totally wrong > these were Odysee's native currency).
Even though everybody knows the claim is BS > SEC won... and Odysee most probably will be gone soon.. we will see what happens to this platform
The lesson here is simple: do NOT joke with GOV!!
And, this warning label is intended to inform $Maria holders of the risks associated with cryptocurrencies and to encourage them to not to see these as an investment.
I suppose this brings up a question and what should be good text instead? .. your thoughts?
