Competitors to WordPress

Well, I know about Wix, but I haven't tried it.  Who has used stuff other than WP and how do you compare it to WP?  Anyway, I think competition is a good thing.  It keeps up quality in the market and good prices.

vix isn't really a wp competitor.

the core differences:
vix: cloud hosted cms
wp: selfhosted cms (used in this way in most of the usercases)

as I see it, the main wp competitors would be Ghost, Drupal and Joomla.. though, they are not really competitors as share way too small (when compared) market share when compared to wp

Is there anything especially different about Ghost, Joomla and/or Drupal?  I need to do more research into them.  I know little about them.  Never heard of Ghost at all!

Ghost was created after WP > the purpose was to remove all the unneeded stuff from WP.. haven't tested it but there are many great reviews on it
