Delegated staking configuration requirements?

Is the there any special configuration requirements to set up a delegated staking wallet?

I setup a basic wallet on the Ubuntu CLI, got a cold staking address and sent some MARIA to the cold staking wallet, but when checking the staking status, the coins never became stakeable, even after a few days.

I killed the VM like a week ago, so I can't give you the exact info. I did a simple install (download from github, put in /usr/local/bin, etc. similar to my masternodes), added my local MNs to the config, ran the command to get the delegation address, and sent the coins from my controller wallet.

I can spin up another VM, delegate some MARIA, and we can go from there?

I would say, please wait till we release the next update (in around 2 weeks) - it will be a major upgrade on the system.

after that I will create a detailed tutorial on how to do this.
