Hey everyone 
Just wanted to share a quick update on something that happened earlier today (we do see cases like these quite often). Someone tried to register a domain through HostMaria using a bunch of different cards — all within minutes. We're talking 20+ cards, all from JPMorgan Chase, and coming from the same user in Bangladesh, while the cards themselves were from the US.

Looks like they were using some kind of automation or bot to cycle through the cards until one worked. Luckily, Stripe’s security tools flagged the whole thing and blocked every single attempt.
To make things even tighter, we’ve recently increased the security requirements on our side — so even legit payments have to meet a higher standard now. Safety first!
Moral of the story: our systems (with Stripe’s help) are doing a solid job keeping bad actors out, and keeping HostMaria safe for real users like you.
If you ever have issues with payments or get blocked unexpectedly — just give us a shout. Sometimes real users get caught up in the filters too.
