Unable to start my Masternode

I am trying to install my Masternode on a VPS. The OS is Debian.

I created my masternode in my Windows Wallet as mentioned in the HowTo. When i check the address, i see that 100.000 coins are locked. My Masternode.conf file contains all the stuff that was generated by the automatic setup. I copied the content of the last window of the masternode setup to a notepad file.

IN my VPS, i installed the Masternode as mentioned in the HowTo and copied the content from my masternode setup into the maria.conf file and i added the other lines mentioned in the HowTo. I replaced the IP_Here by the IP of my VPS. I started the deamon and waited until all blocks were synchronized. After this i started the masternode in my wallet. It went on Pre-Enabled but after some hours, it went back to missing. Do you have some ideas what i can check?

I am setting all the masternodes on Ubuntu (version 18.04 mostly, sometimes on 20.04).

Yes, I understand that the Ubuntu is actually based on Debian. Still, it is known for being more user-friendly and having more up-to-date software packages.

Could you retry with Ubuntu 18.04? .. works as a charm for me.

Also, very often the masternode goes to "Missing" the first time > just start it one more time
