[member=47]eti[/member] replacing the old wallet files with the new ones is super easy:

1) open your masternode vps > go to the folder where the wallet .dat and .conf files are

2) enter the admin mode:
Code:
sudo su

3) download the bootstrap file in the main folder where your wallet files are
Code:
wget https://bootstrap.mariacoin.com/boot_strap.zip

4) delete following folders:
Code:
rm -rf *.dat blocks database chainstate evodb sporks zerocoin

5) unzip the bootstrap
Code:
unzip boot_strap.zip

note: if the zip isn't installed:
Code:
apt install zip

6) Maria.conf file >> there is no need to edit anything. The only thing, you can add 2 more addnodes:
Code:
addnode=188.40.233.45
addnode=94.130.95.106

7) Go to another folder where the maria-cli is located at > usually usr/local/bin/:
Code:
cd /usr/local/bin

8) Check the contents of it:
Code:
ls -al

9) You should see 3 executable maria files (executable = in green colour). These are old files and need to be removed:
Code:
rm mar*

10) Download the newest wallet version (in this case 5.5.0):
Code:
wget https://github.com/hostmaria/mariacoin/releases/download/v5.5.0/maria-5.5.0-ubuntu18-daemon.zip

11) unzip:
Code:
unzip maria-5.5.0-ubuntu18-daemon.zip && chmod +x maria-cli mariad maria-tx

# Note: if zip doesn't work, install it with this command:
Code:
apt install zip

# if you had to install zip > re-run the line above (#11)

12) make the new maria files executable:
Code:
chmod +x maria-cli mariad maria-tx

# and, double-check that new files are here:
Code:
ls -al

==

this is it :) Start your Maria wallet on your VPS :)

You can check if the MN wallet is on the current chain and block, by going to your folder where the maria.conf is at, and running:
Code:
tail -f debug.log

verify that the latest block matches the latest block number on the explorer.mariacoin.com

did this help?

Best wishes!

p.s. quick note: these are the commands to work with the wallets in Ubuntu. The standard Ubuntu version for PivX and most PivX forks is v 18.04, were v. 20.04 works as well.
