Where did the name come from?

Maria is the common name. But in crypto, it's a unique name. Its meaning is "Love," I think it is chosen because people will love this coin.

Years ago I had a thought to create a simple affiliate website for sports gamblers. .. I had been playing with affiliate sites for a long time till that moment (here and there, and with different results)
.. one thing you need to know about that niche > the gambling niche domains are very, very difficult to find > domain investors are heavily represented here > they have bought out almost all possible decent 2-word brandable domain names. did my research, used many tools to help me to find the perfect name and then stumbled upon a possible brandable domain name = MariaBet, and I loved it! .. so, shortly after, I bought it. .. still, it was just a side-project, and the idea got quickly abandoned as I needed to concentrate on my core business.
.. and the name "Maria" just stuck with me.. loved it! Well, it is probably the #1 female name in the Western Europe and in the USA, Canada, South America and Australia (and the various Christian religions here play the major role, of course).
.. very short time later, still under the influence of "Maria", I registered HostMaria.com = now, an established web hosting business.
/side note: my favourite Muslim female name is: Fatima ... and, if I was from the UAE, the brand would probably be FatimaHost/

and then we started expanding > $Maria coin, MariaBuy.com (our version of an eBay-ish marketplace where you would buy and sell stuff for $Maria), Maria Coin Exchange and so on..
this is the story
and now the mission: solve the problems the Maria way!!
